Business Analytics Manager II - Chief Revenue Office

The Duff & Phelps Chief Revenue Office, headed by the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), is charged with developing programs and processes that accelerate the firm's organic revenue growth rate. We work with executives, business unit/service line leaders and colleagues around the world to promote and facilitate cross-referrals, assess sales data and reward colleagues for successful revenue generation. In 2019 we will launch several initiatives with the common goal of driving incremental revenue.

The Business Analytics Manager II is responsible for all data reporting and corresponding insight to support Chief Revenue Office objectives. This individual will report to the Director of Commercial Operations (DCO) and collaborate with peers across Integrated Marketing, Finance and the firm's other internal functions. In addition, the Business Analytics VP will build and manage a team of at least three professionals, each providing dedicated analytics support to a primary business unit of the firm. Salesforce is the firm's global CRM system and Infor/Lawson is the firm's global financial system.

Position Knowledge / Skills and Abilities Requirements

Salesforce and tools specific -

- Minimum five years of Salesforce data analytics experience (financial services or professional services domains preferred) including three years of team lead experience.

- Substantial experience with Salesforce business analytics applications or third-party data tools used in conjunction with Salesforce.

- Substantial experience with business intelligence platforms that aggregate and report on data across multiple systems.

- Proficiency in Salesforce data processes and standard/complex reporting including custom reports and dashboards. General knowledge of Salesforce technical configuration.

- Proficiency in Excel 2016 including pivot tables and other advanced features.

- Salesforce Lightning experience ideal but not required.

- Infor/Lawson data analytics experience preferred but not required.

- Sitecore and/or marketing automation experience preferred but not required.

- Active pursuit of Salesforce certifications preferred.

Desired managerial competencies -

- Superior oral and written communication skills blended with excellent presentation skills.

- Proven project management experience and working knowledge of service delivery model.

- Proven process engineering and knowledge management abilities, including documentation.

- University degree - [B. Sc.IT/BCA/MCA] preferred.

Responsibilities

- Designs and leads comprehensive data analytics projects and delivers results to the CRO and DCO with full context and next-step recommendations.

- Proactively develops and proposes data initiatives that generate actionable insights from a range of sources including Salesforce, Infor/Lawson and various marketing platforms.

- Partners with commercial data team on data analysis to enhance specific business development efforts and related stakeholder needs.

- Partners with Salesforce technical data team to enhance institutional data processes and optimize data capture.

- Creates dedicated reporting to support Chief Revenue Office programs such as key accounts and channel initiatives.

- Analyzes BI software and tools for potential firm investment and functions as the product owner of those applications.

- Ensures quality control of all work executed by team members.

- Consistently evaluates team member performance and productivity.

- Leads recurring progress calls to ensure effective team operations.

- Willing to work UK shift as per business requirements.
