DTDC - Strategic Sales Manager / Snr. Manager Experience : 7 - 8 Yrs. (5 yrs. in Sales Strategy with B2B/ Corporate Sales background, preferably from Logistics Express) Summary : - The role will serve as a strategic thinker for the Direct Sales team, crafting and implementing innovative sales strategies. - The role will be at the forefront of all initiatives and ensure that the end objectives are met. The KRA of the role have been listed below : Key Responsibilities : Product Enhancement : - Manage sales activities including the launch of new products, promotions, discounts, exclusives, and campaigns. - Regularly review the product features including the network coverage, competition offerings, etc. with customers and operations &amp; identify key projects and conduct development follow-up. - Regularly review the service performance with operations, set improvement benchmarks, identify improvement areas &amp; projects and conduct follow-up. Strategic : - Observe market forecasts, identify trends, and stay ahead of the curve. - Examine and analyze the growth opportunities in the zones. - Identify areas of improvement in sales strategies by data analysis, with a view of establishing actionable insights for the improvement of sales and business profits. - Identify new untapped markets and prepare a strategic plan to penetrate the market. Operational : - Define monthly &amp; seasonal targets for the territory &amp; major accounts team and create blueprints to enable them to achieve the same - Monitor and review monthly sales performance of zonal sales managers and provide strategic guidance to zonal and regional teams to achieve the desired growth - Manage key business relationships with major accounts, monitor major accounts team and ensure continuous service to these clients - Identify and onboard new customers with an estimated &amp; assigned revenue target per month People : - Build strong relationships with external partners and customers and regularly interact with them by attending sales workshops, seminars, events, and playing an active role in industry organizations - Identify training needs for the team and recommend the training to the management Desired Knowledge and experience : Qualifications : - At least 5 years of Sales Strategy experience in a fast-paced dynamic business environment - At least 5 years of experience in a logistics industry or related field
