JOB SUMMARY
The role holder is responsible to manage all IT Projects of DTDC. The role holder has to manage timelines of
implementation in projects, collaborate with other internal teams on project requirements and identify the necessary tools to enable the project implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
STRATEGIC
1) Provide strategic guidance in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
2) Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing new IT initiatives
3) Evaluate the success of the project(s) against its benchmarking and sharing lessons or best practice with other teams and project managers
OPERATIONAL :
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion by collaborating with various business teams
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Identify scope of improvement in IT processes and identify new initiatives / projects to be taken by DTDC across the organization / in a particular business
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Carry out risk assessment for all the projects and ensure the risk mitigation strategies are in place
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE :
QUALIFICATION :
- Masters Degree in Program Management / Business Management
- At least 8 years of experience in anchoring IT projects in a fast paced dynamic business environment
- Experience in a Logistics industry or related field is an added advantage

- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills to analyze and understand business requirements
- Negotiation, scheduling and conflict management skills
- Stakeholder management ability to manage key business stakeholders
- Critical thinking ability to steer the projects
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to anchor and hold large scale projects
- Ability to motivate people and encourage them to achieve team goals
