Purpose : We are looking for a seasoned professional and influencer to join the organization who can lead our Commercial & Pricing process in a collaborative manner. The right person will be a trusted partner to Product, Operations and Finance who will drive the process of determining and setting prices to gain market share, achieve revenue goals and grow the profit margin. This role will require a strong understanding of pricing strategy, excellent modelling and analytical skills and experience collaborating across Operations leadership, Sales and Marketing, IT and Engineering.

Location Corporate - Bangalore

Job Purpose :

- End to end ownership of deals and providing pricing support enabling profitable wins of large and complex deals

- Coordinate and align stakeholders in case of strategic approvals and escalations

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities :

Strategic Planning : Executing the overall pricing strategy and Direct Party Commercials, Operating Vendor Commercials & Packaging Commercials, etc. for all products aligned to it

Revenue Management :

- Provide pricing support - in line with Operations Vendor Commercials to achieve overall cost standardization

- Projects- Optimal Commercials Strategy for different projects (like replacement of petrol/diesel vehicles with Electric Vehicles)

- Take informed decisions and win profitably in the market

- End to end ownership of large deals, bids and complex deals

Product Management :

- Liaison with- product, finance and solution teams to offer winning profitable price

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and create innovative commercial decision models which assesses risk, enables decision making and automates governance

Customer Management :

- Follow the Price books, guidance & commercial and support with speedy approval

- Engage with customer facing teams, hand hold and support cross functional teams as required

People Management :

- Work closely with cross -functional teams like finance, product, solutions for case approvals

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience :

- Business Planning and Financial modelling skills

- Structured approach to decision making and ability to take calculated risks for large and complex deals

- Strong systems and process orientation

- At least 8 years of experience (of which minimum 2 years in corporate role or consulting role) in pricing analytics or in-depth financial analysis

- Strategic and hands-on. Person can understand pricing/operations strategy but is capable of leveraging systems and perform advanced modelling with limited supervision.

- Experience in pricing and tool development in logistics

- Experience working in a fast-paced organization, entrepreneurial environment

- Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, VBA, etc.) & Project Management tools

- Strong communication skills; verbal and written

- A well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player with a collaborative mind-set

- Self-motivated, who can complete tasks without supervision and who can evaluate and manage risks appropriately

- Must have technical / professional qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Business, Accounting, Finance or related fields

- MBA in Decision Sciences/Entrepreneurship/Finance & Accounting/Strategy (from tier-1 B-School)
