AGM Commercial & Pricing Strategy - Franchisee/Channel Partner & Projects

Purpose : We are looking for a seasoned professional and influencer to join the organization who can lead our Commercial & Pricing process in a collaborative manner. The right person will be a trusted partner to Product, Operations and Finance who will drive the process of determining and setting prices to gain market share, achieve revenue goals and grow the profit margin. This role will require a strong understanding of pricing strategy, excellent modelling and analytical skills and experience collaborating across Operations leadership, Sales and Marketing, IT and Engineering.

Pricing Management :

- Own pricing strategy/direction & advice for securing new business and maintaining existing business

- Own Pricing model in Transhipment rate revision, Tariff revision, Royalty revision & Pay out Calculation, Commercials for different business models of Channel Partners and Billing

- Monitor Competition Strategy Building

- Own development of costing pricing tool to respond more quickly to changing market needs or trends

- Own pricing training delivery to area/regions and manage feasible upgrades needed in pricing tools to support growth aspirations

- Own standardization of pricing tools to deliver product organisations objectives

- Coach, manage, mentor, and support the area/regional product team to adopt pricing tool kit

- Own pricing guidelines pricing Framework and platform development

- Co-own commercial guidelines with Business Product Owners

- Partner with Lead to Agreement and Pricing platform to develop a standardised pricing and contractual platform development

- Partners across functions and work closely with and communicates with Operations leadership, Sales and Marketing, IT, Engineering, and stakeholders to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies

- Use a variety of statistical modelling methods to prepare reports that show the potential impact of various pricing strategies and their effect on margins

- Monitor the results of pricing decisions by evaluating the expected pricing model performance in relation to the steady state actual profit margins

- Spearhead pricing initiatives and strategy as the business dictates it, such as product line seasonal surcharges

Requirements :

- At least 8 years of experience in pricing analytics or in-depth financial analysis

- Strategic and hands-on. Person can understand pricing/operations strategy but is capable of leveraging systems and perform advanced modelling with limited supervision.

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Business, Accounting, Finance or related fields required

- MBA in Decision Sciences/Entrepreneurship/Finance & Accounting/Strategy (from tier-1 B-School)

- Experience in pricing and tool development in logistics

- Experience working in a fast-paced organization, entrepreneurial environment

- Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, VBA, etc.) & Project Management tools

- Strong communication skills; verbal and written

- A well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player with a collaborative mind-set

- Self-motivated, who can complete tasks without supervision and who can evaluate and manage risks appropriately
