DSP BlackRock - Analyst - Operational Risk

Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of operational risk management as a part of the RQA (Risk & Quantitative Analysis) team

Error investigation, new product risk assessments and development of the operational risk framework

Identifying changes in risk within the operating environment

Provide independent assessment of and effective challenge to risk processes, policies, standards, strategies, frameworks, and governance, leveraging formal reviews and ongoing monitoring

Engage business partners and senior management to leverage operational risk data and trends, and implement lessons learned from significant events

Maintain operational risk oversight policy and procedures for conducting independent process reviews and risk monitoring

Facilitate risk and control self-assessments and implement control enhancements to actively and demonstrably mitigate operational risks

Collaborate with business teams to review and enhance key processes and operational risk controls

Competencies

Degree in Engineering/Management

Superior problem-solving, strong analytical skill, strong learning agility and willingness to embrace new challenges

Ability to work cooperatively with other internal departments

Very good verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Ability to work without supervision, multitask, prioritize and be flexible
