About The Team: The Risk team at Drip Capital is responsible for Drip's proprietary underwriting model and lending portfolio. Our key role is to support growth for Drip's global trade lending operations while managing portfolio risk. We are seeking a driven, analytical candidate with experience in finance and data to lead analytics related to underwriting and portfolio management. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where you will need to work cross-functionally and develop quantitative insights to drive better decision-making. Your Role: - Own and manage risk policies for specific business lines - Manage pipeline of analytics to support growth and manage debt portfolios - Work closely with growth, operations, and product teams to streamline processes and provide insights - Identify and evaluate potential risks with clients - Work with senior management to provide strategic input on risk policies and practices Our Checklist: - A quantitative degree (engineering, economics, statistics, computer science) from a Tier I college - 2-5 years experience in portfolio or risk management at a bank or financial institution, credit experience is a plus - Build, own and maintain accurate and coherent dashboards performance tracking dashboards for the Risk Operations team - Prior knowledge of R or Python and SQL - High attention to detail and a strong work ethic - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong individual and team performance mentality with an ownership mindset - Proactivity, humility, and having a bias to action are qualities we highly value - Prior knowledge of lending businesses or structured finance products is a plus
