- Have a good background in Math and Statistics - Have a very good understanding of data structures and algorithms - Have excellent coding skills in one or more of the following languages: Python/ R - Apply statistics skills, such as identifying distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc. - Have a thorough understanding of one or more of the following: Machine Learning algorithms, Natural Language Processing techniques, and Information Retrieval techniques Experience in - ML on big data platforms preferred - Python and Deep Learning and NLP packages is a plus - Deploying models in production environments at scale - Handle structured and unstructured data and experience in loading, validating and cleaning various types of data - Build and improve machine learning models used in production and manage existing models - Identify opportunities where scientific techniques can be applied to solve business problems - Be accountable for designing and implementing metrics to verify and measure models and optimizing the quality of algorithms - Take ownership of the end-to-end system from Problem statement to Solution Delivery and leverage other teams if required - Automate model training and testing and deployment via machine learning continuous delivery pipelines.
