Draup - Associate Consultant - Analytics (0-4 yrs)
Primary Objectives/Responsibilities:
- Analyse the available big data and derive meaningful and strategic insights to solve the client use-cases
- Perform qualitative secondary research to arrive at a well framed and thought solution for the client
- Own small consulting engagements as an individual contributor or individual work streams as a part larger engagements
- Create customized mathematical models for the clients based on data availability and customer requirements
- Perform statistical analysis on the available datasets to perform multiple hypothesis testing based on client requirements
- Work closely with the Internal Data Analytics and Statistical Teams to create new derived metrics which can be brought to the Draup Platform
- Work closely with the Backend teams to perform quality checks on the existing/upcoming models through market understanding and secondary research
- Study existing literatures, algorithms and methodologies to develop innovative mathematical models
- Assist in writing scientific whitepapers for the new models or emerging trends in the market
Required Skills and Personal Abilities:
- Excellent spoken English and professional communication skills to handle international clients
- Proficiency in Research and Analytical Skills over relevant datasets
- High Proficiency in Statistical and Data Modelling concepts
- High Degree of Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, etc)
- Ability to develop and articulate strategic insights based on data analysis and secondary research
- Strong Inter-personal skills are required due to high focus on cross-team collaboration with the Product and Services based teams
- Excellent Analytical and Logical skills to assist in development on Numerical models
- Basic programming algorithms to assist in creation of Analytical Models
- (Preferred) Knowledge of any data analytics and data visualization tools and techniques (Tableau, Power BI, Matlab, etc)
- (Preferred) Knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark for analysis over large datasets
