The Global Generics India business is an INR 3,000 Cr franchise. Our products across a balanced portfolio of mass and specialty therapies deliver our promise of good health to patients. Covering the whole spectrum of disease areas, our product range spans across gastroenterology, oncology, pain management, cardiovascular, dermatology, urology, nephrology, rheumatology and diabetes. Our Field Force of over 5,500 people promote ~ 700 SKUs & connect with more than three lakh doctors on a regular basis to ensure that quality medicines are available across the length and breadth of the country.

Role Description: To be part of a vibrant business and witness the journey to the top 10 in India. To play an active role in strengthening the control environment and drive compliance to laid down policies / marketing code for India Business. To ensure periodic reviews of existing marketing practices and presenting the findings along with preventive actions to India Business Head.

Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following activities:

1. Drive the Governance Framework to identify & mitigate compliance risks.

2. Work closely with IA/SOX team to strengthen processes & eliminate SODs/deviations. Support the internal Audit /SOX team in conducting periodic audits & ensure timely closure of mitigating actions.

3. Work closely with Compliance & BD team to handle audits conducted by In Licensing partners.

4. Maintain / improve control environment

- Driving adherence to marketing code guidelines and highlighting deviations to business

- Review existing RCMs / PFDs and driving changes wherever required for enhanced controls

- Keep a track on the changing compliance environment and updating the Business with the impact and change requirements.

- Drive HCP compliance through various online applications like DigiCx, Book App and exploring options for enhancement of these tools for better compliance

5. Continuous data analytics for marketing spends and identification of areas for detailed analysis

6. Tracking the work of division SPOCs [Dotted line reporting] & providing training wherever required

7. Overseeing the process around FME settlements, foreign payments, F&F settlements, E-cash, etc.

8. Co-ordination with Genpact / GBS for smooth functioning of FME process and complete tracking of TAT around different processes and escalating in case of concerns

9. Others

- Handling special projects

- Enable information automation & simplification of existing processes

Academic Background and Key Experience Requirements:

- CA with around ~ 5-7 years of experience in business finance / audit domain

- Relevant experience of internal audit will be important

- Familiarity with SAP environment

- A good understanding of pharma industry and regulations governing the industry

- Exposure in manufacturing sector

Key Skills & Competencies:

- The candidate should have a sharp business focus & eye for detail

- Good communication skills

- Should have better networking capability

- Should be able to work with CFTs

- Should be adaptable and flexible in his approach

- Should be self-initiator and sense of ownership for its deliverables.
