Dr Reddys - Lead - Talent Management & Capability Building (7-11 yrs)

Role : Lead Talent Management & Capability Building (GMO)

Reporting To : Director - Talent Acquisition & Talent Management (GMO)

Location: Bachupally

Key Responsibilities :

a. Talent Assessment:

- Enabling people managers and HR partners through processes, systems and capabilities for talent assessment; conducting moderation exercises at multiple levels of management all the way upto apex; leveraging Success Factor for complete online monitoring and controlling of the assessment process

b. Talent Engagement:

- Enabling managers to have non-judgmental and empathetic conversations around the assessment inputs for their direct reports. Engaging managers and their direct reports in timely career discussions with the help of HR partners

c. Talent Development:

- Supporting creation and closure of development plans for the individuals (with special focus on critical mass). Designing different developmental strategies for different categories of talent. Bringing in multiple dimensions of development in the individual plans. Closely tracking progress vis-a-vis developmental plans and reporting to the relevant stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner

d. Succession Planning:

- Identification of pivotal roles and successors for them in line with the succession planning process of the organization. Keeping the succession planning document current by periodically accommodating changes. Having focused developmental strategy for the identified successors

e. Managing Critical Talent:

- Developing critical talent identification criteria, socializing with LC for buy-in, putting the critical talent on fast track under focused developmental plan. Providing visibility of critical talent to the business leaders

f. Managing Early Talent:

- Devising methods for identifying early talent, identification of critical engagement levers for the early talent, formulating action plans and delivering on the same in collaboration with HR Leads

g. Driving People Management Excellence:

- Enabling and monitoring people management excellence as per PMEP guidebook and toolkit for people managers. Enabling HR partners to effectively work with line managers for delivering on people's expectations, measuring progress of managers on chosen metrics and rewarding excellent managers

h. Operating Network:

- Internal: CTO/FTO HR Heads, HR Managers, HR Facilitators, Plant / Functional Heads, Site Leadership Teams, Leadership Academy, TTC, HR CoEs, Administration team, Compensation and Benefits Team.

- External: Vendors & Institutions

i. Technical Requirements:

- Understanding of the technicalities of learning, development and talent management processes

- Ability to conceptualize processes and frameworks for enabling talent-related processes

- Data management and data analysis - including eye for picking mistakes

- Documentation skills

- Ability to communicate in a crisp manner - especially in writing

- Making impactful presentations

- Facilitation skills and understanding of content design are desirable

Educational & Experience :

- MBA in HR with 8-10 years of functional experience

- Ability to strike engaging conversation with senior business managers

- Ability to influence key stakeholders

- Ability to achieve results through collaboration

- Ability to take complete ownership of a task/activity/process

- Ability to get into details

- Drive for delivering results on time and of desired quality
