Location : Corporate Office, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad

Context :

Data is at the heart of a pharmaceutical organization - from manufacturing operations, Quality control & Assurance, Research & Development to all the front end teams- interactions with doctors and patient community. Analytics initiatives at Dr. Reddy's hence are becoming more strategic to various business units and functions performance. While the journey is on, the current context is to drive better leverage of all this data with the use of advanced analytics techniques to help answer various business questions across the organization.

Pharma/ Life Sciences generates and consumes large amounts of documentation and data (in R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Commercial Operations). The position is responsible to bring in the current advances in AI/ML and leverage them for business impact in both the - AI for Interactions- and - AI for Insights from data- . Objective is to identify and scale use-cases that use AI primarily improving the organization/ process capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for evaluating the organization's data (unstructured & structured) landscape to identify potential areas for AI-led interventions

- Work closely with the business teams in identifying and co-developing use-cases that can deliver higher business impact with application of AI/DL/ML

- Solution and enable delivery of the identified use-cases

- Work with consulting and development partners to deliver scalable solutions that leverage the best of the latest advancements in the field

Operating Network :

Internal : All functions and teams within the organization across India and overseas locations

External : Vendors, implementation partners, knowledge networks in the industry

Technical Requirements:

- Experience in application of AI/ML/DL preferably in the areas of Text/ Document Mining, (Natural Language Understanding and Processing etc.) and/or application of AI/ML for Science or R&D

- Experience building real-world solutions/ business application leveraging the AI/ML concepts & technologies

- Ability to understand of business processes in atleast 1-2 core industries (Life Sciences, Chemicals or Consumer Goods)

Educational Qualifications : B. Tech/M. Tech. Certifications or academic qualification in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning

Experience Required : Minimum 10 to 14 years of experience in a reputed medium to large-scale start-up/ solutions/ analytics services organization. People with good academic background and strong start-up experience with real-world application of multiple AI/ML models can be considered too.
