The Head of Strategic Global Marketing will lead the group comprising of the marketing/ market research functions & the creative services team. He/she will lead innovative market research, design thinking (in collaboration with our partners) and product launch & marketing strategies. He/she would lead the creation of robust marketing plans & launch activities in partnership with partner country marketing teams based on thorough understanding of various market requirements and drive differentiation initiatives to ensure competitive advantage of our brands. He/she will work with other members in the marketing/ market research function to drive the use of market-based information and rigorous primary and secondary analysis to objectively identify opportunities, frame and validate strategic options, deliver insights and recommendations, and build cumulative knowledge to support marketing, portfolio & product development initiatives. He/ She will also lead market research to direct & support Life Cycle Management Plans to optimize brand's long-term commercial value.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Strategic Marketing

- Demonstrates expert marketing skills (segmentation, positioning, key messages, brand image, etc.)

- Build upon therapy area knowledge and understanding of all geographies with respect to product use, disease management and customer base.

- Drive LCM strategies for pipeline & mature products

- Conceptualize digital initiatives (websites, mobile applications) for end user engagement

- Ensure continuous review of product and market performance, competitive intelligence, market research to identify key growth opportunities and hurdles facing the brands

- Provide marketing campaign plan support to partner marketing leads as assigned, including appropriate follow-up communications.

- Lead KOL engagement initiatives across therapy areas and geographies supporting product launches

Market Research:

- Develop thorough understanding of biologics in line with our strategic positioning.

- Conceptualize, design, execute and manage primary market research projects and secondary data tracking/analysis and interpretation based on product, therapy and region requirements and analyze, interpret and present final analysis including recommendations to the Commercial Group (Market Research, Marketing, Regional Commercial Leads, and other internal stakeholders).

- Demonstrate understanding of various analytical and Market Research techniques and application of Market Research methodologies to answer key business questions and manage market research plans and budgets.

- Liaison with Regional Commercial Leads to track key critical success factors from secondary sources/ databases for assessment of opportunities, launch success and marketing strategies and provide insights and guidance to marketing decisions.

- Collaborate with other Cross- functional project Teams, including Clinical Development, QA, Regulatory, etc., to design Market Research parameters and provide input for tactical and strategic decision-making.

- Demonstrate commitment to high quality research, cost efficiency, and project management.

Qualifications & Skills/Knowledge Required:

- MSc/BPharm/ B Tech/PhD/ MBBS required; MBA strongly preferred

- 12+ years - experience in marketing/ market research with a minimum of 5+ years - experience in the super-specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry

- Oncology/Immunology therapy area and market knowledge & experience is preferred

- Working effectively with cross-functional teams such as product & clinical development; operations, etc.

- Experience in conducting primary and/or secondary Market Research; Exposure to US and Europe markets is a plus.

- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research techniques required; advanced analytical methodologies such as segmentation, etc. is a plus

- Excellent communication & presentation skills required

- Advanced Word, PowerPoint and advanced skills
