Role: Business Analyst - Enterprise Applications

Reporting To: Senior Director - IT & BPE

Location: Corporate Office, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad

Context

As a business analyst, you will work on priority projects as part of a team and be responsible for problem solving. You will play a key role in gathering and analysing data, interviewing stakeholders, and contributing to the BPE team's recommendations. You will have direct contact with senior management and a high degree of independence. You will conduct analyses, interview customers, plan and facilitate workshops, translate conclusions into recommendations, or help design and implement large-scale organisational change programs. You will get extensive training to help build your core management skills and will receive ongoing feedback and mentoring from teammates and mentors.

You- ll gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to Dr. Reddys. Business Analysts receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on their teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Project team support. As a Business Analyst, you will provide significant contributions to project team's impact by bringing deep and forward-looking knowledge of your area of expertise. You will regularly demonstrate an ability to contribute to problem disaggregation, to provide 80/20 solutions for analyzing problems, and to think - out of the box.- Teams will rely on your insight to guide their research approach.

- As a Business analyst, you should also be able to serve as a discussion partner with BU personnel by possessing a strong personal presence in addition to the significant knowledge base described above.

- Knowledge development. You are expected to possess a broad industry / functional knowledge base and to be developing one or more distinctive areas of expertise. You will take an active part in building your personal knowledge base through both proactive research activities - either individually or with BU teams. You must also develop a personal network of internal and external experts and effectively leverage it for project needs.

- People leadership. Your ability to successfully operate in a team environment is essential for success. In addition, you will contribute to the overall performance growth of more junior colleagues by sharing your expertise and by playing an active and effective mentorship role.

Operating Network

Internal: All functions and teams within the organization across India and overseas locations

External: Vendors, implementation partners, knowledge networks

Technical Requirements:

- Good understanding of business processes in at least one of the functions like SCM, Sales & Marketing, Finance processes etc.

- Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.

- Knowledge in Project management background

Educational Qualifications: An MBA degree from a top tier institute is a must

Experience Required: 2 - 3 years of experience in a reputed medium to large-scale manufacturing organization (preferably in Pharmaceuticals industry) or in a top consulting firm.
