DP World - Cash & Carry Product Head - Express Segment

Key responsibilities:

- Designing suitable strategy to ensure market growth of the cash and carry product with small to medium traders and retailers.

- Develop a prioritized target customer list in the concentrated market and focus sales effort to penetrate and grow the target customers.

- Planning and coordinating targets along with the sales team.

- Coordination with Operations and Commercial teams for effective service delivery.

- To review regularly and monitor daily weekly and monthly activity reports and suggest appropriate actions to achieve sales target.

- Planning Sales promotional activities for awareness, faster off-takes for building brand image vis- a -vis new and existing products.

- Evaluating and analyzing the effectiveness of promotional activities planned.

- Increase in C&C product penetration across all customer target groups

- Analyze competition actions to spot market trends and formulate or alter sales direction strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

- MBA, with or without engineering background, with deep understanding of the Cash & Carry Sales

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cash & carry business development and sales

- Leadership role and strategic planner with proficiency in marketing Express products, conducting market research, launching new products, accelerating growth and achieving business targets

- Exceptional communication skills backed by strong listening skills to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Excellent leadership capability with the ability to ensure commercial targets and budgets are achieved by the sales team.

- Good interpersonal skills, excellent team building capabilities, planning, co-ordination, and decision-making skills

- Demonstration of strong planning skills essential and good project management skills

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with/coach senior leadership.

- Strong desire to improve our service, products, and processes, with ability to drive continuous improvement.

- Ability to work across the business to implement and execute change.

- Ability to impact organization results through influence across organizational boundaries.

- Strong networker, influencer, and team player.
