- The company is a Y-combinator backed Ed-Tech firm focusing on upskilling the candidates from Core Engineering background (Mechanical, Civil engineering etc)
- Company trains candidates on advanced engineering courses and provides job assistance along with it
Roles and Responsibilities :
The role of a Domain Manager is quite crucial one where the candidate will be taking care of an entire Domain - scaling it up, hiring the right team etc (read building a vertical).
The broad responsibilities will be :
- Propose Domain wise sales plans and targets in alignment with business objectives
- Manage domain and individual performances
- Report on domain-wise sales results
- Forecast quarterly and annual profits
- Handle the end to end sales process starting from Lead distribution to managing the sales associates. This should be done in a seamless manner with quality process.
- Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople
- Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
- Analyze the domains market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Address critical problems and suggest prompt solutions
- Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
Ideal Candidate :
- Proven work experience as a Senior Sales Manager, Accounts manager or similar senior sales role
- Preferably same domain or educational sales experience.
- Should have experience in working with a B2C business model (Mandatory)
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators.
- Fluency with CRM software
- Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
- Excellent communication skills
