Utilities - Water: Domain Expert (SME)

- Is responsible for providing domain expertise to existing accounts

- Participate in client steering meetings to establish IGDC domain competency in water domain.

- Proactively engage with client-teams in the pre-bid stage to understand their needs and provide domain relevant solutions

- Propose value adds and innovative solutions in existing accounts

- Review and approve solutions for large bids in the Water sector

- Write up effective proposals in response to client RFPs

- Build and enhance the functional competency in the teams

- Active participation in the sector growth councils and drive initiatives

- Take responsibility for estimates of a project / Handle customer contact

- Participates in Client Visits and Bid Presentations to establish IGDC domain expertise in Water Sector

- Working experience with Fixed Price contract is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate expertise in a number of water sector business areas and will also have a good understanding of relevant technology and solutions. The following areas would be of interest:

- Retail competition and markets

- Smart metering for the water sector

- Customer contact and billing

- Industry regulation

- Asset management

- Capital programme delivery

- Control and operations

- The relevant technology in these areas.

- In addition, the candidate will have very strong client facing skills and will be a team player. Good communication, presentation and persuasion skills will be important. Analytical skills will be required to assess the market needs and to identify the right propositions, as will solution architecture skills to design the solutions.

Criteria:

- Should have 12+ years- experience in the water sector industry either with clients or in IT Services organisations who specialize in water sector

- Post Graduate with good executive presence

- Should have experience in working with large NA and European Water clients
