Dogra Group - Chief Financial Officer (5-10 yrs)
SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Strategic
- Provide inputs to the Board and Senior Management team in the formulation of the organization strategy and business plans with financial metrics
- Develop a systemic framework for proactively identifying, assessing various business and financial risks impacting the organization along with mitigation strategy
- Review and provide suggestions on long term Contracts / Master Supply / Service Agreements etc. with the Customers/Vendors
- Keep abreast of changes in the applicable regulatory and statutory rules and regulations, both locally and international, and their implications on the organization
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers in banks, investor bodies, analysts, regulatory bodies and other financial institutions
Financial
- Provide directions and Monitor the budgeting process for the organization, review and discuss with Management for approval. Ensure adherence to the budget through periodic reviews.
- Drive management information system MIS for various segments / departments and Group companies with variance analysis for Board and HODs
- Evaluate various options to raise short term and long term funds keeping in view the cost, availability and market conditions etc.
Operational
- Guide and drive the development and implementation of all financial policies & procedures with efficient tax planning
- Build internal controls for efficient fund management including cash conversion cycle and foreign exchange
- Monitor and review the financial reports of foreign subsidiaries and ensure compliance with applicable foreign statutory rules and regulations
- Drive timely and accurate preparation, review and analysis of various financial reports and statements
- Review preparation and execution of product costing and cost control measures
- Provide support to the Management in evaluating feasibility of potential Merger & Acquisition deals through effective due diligence
- Drive Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility.
- Handling Banking and Finance.
- Financial Promotion for the company with various Financial Institutes and Financial Promoters.
- Maintaining The Financial Health of the Company.
Secretarial & Legal
- Direct the legal and secretarial activities and processes to identify and mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance of relevant rules and regulations
- Liaise with external legal experts / counsels to provide guidance and advice as well as direction in handling litigations
People
- Conduct timely goal setting, monitoring, and review of performance and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure that the team is adequately staffed and identify key performers.
- Build a robust succession pipeline for key positions identified within the department through mentoring and coaching the subordinates and building team capabilities.
- Ensure high level of employee engagement and retention of critical employees.
