Funding

April 2016: $1.2 million was raised as seed funding in April 2016 from Facebook's angel investors Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan, along with Japanese Venture Capital firm Rebright Partners.

Dec 2017: DocsApp raised $7.2 million during Series A round of funding from Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Japanese investors Techmatrix Corporation and DeNa networks. Existing angel investors Anand Rajaraman, Venky Harinarayanan, and Japanese VC Rebright partners also participated in this round.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Act as the - business owner- for the category, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business

- Build a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor industry developments

- Define and develop an innovative product roadmap, and create buy-in from with key partners

- Build partnership with vendors and partners to enable 100% service delivery to customers

- Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to deliver product features that provide our customers with an unparalleled experience

- Move fast, innovate, and find ways to simplify

- Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines

Key Qualifications

- B.Tech/M.Tech from IIT/BITS/NIT only

- 3+ years of product / business / sales management experience

- Must be a self-starter, a team leader with excellent people skills

- Previous start-up and/or consulting experience is preferred

- Very strong analytical and communication skills

- Good understanding of B2C internet mobile space
