What we do?

DocOn is a product based startup based out of Bengaluru. The objective is to make the Doctor-Patient interaction much more fruitful and smooth particularly in the OPD space. DocOn has a number of products that help the Doctor achieve this objective the major one being the EMR product. EMR product is an iPad app that aspires to enable doctors take their practice to the next level of quality care. DocOn iPad App has already generated more than 3 million prescriptions till now. Apart from the EMR product we do have solutions that help the receptionist, patients in appointment booking etc as well.

What you will do?

- Understanding the business problem at hand alongwith the Business & Product Team and help in making data driven decisions

- Extracting & Exploring the data from database and other sources that may exist, cleaning the data for any issues/missing values also needs to be owned upon

- Converting the cleaned data into actionable insights and sharing the same with relevant audience

- Automation of data problems/solutions that occur recursively

- Ensure that the action insights shared with the business/product teams are worked upon

- Ensure new business requirements are thoroughly vetted and signed off

- Knowledge sharing within the team and outside if required

What skills will help?

- Proficient in at least one of SQL database, ability to handle complex/inner queries

- Hands-on with Microsoft Excel (basic data cleaning, pivoting and data exploration)

- Basic knowledge of on any one Data Visualization Tool (Tableau, Qlikview, Qliksense, Spotfire,Power BI etc)

- Basic automation skills using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel is a good-to-have

- Communication skills to get the business requirements and give out the final insights

- Data Inquisitiveness & ability to learn/adapt to the environment quickly

- Working knowledge on handling data in R/Python is a plus, but not mandatory

- 1 to 2 years of work experience in data analytics

- Tier 1 Engineering college graduate

- Using a type-free interface & algorithms that keep learning from the doctor, we make software super easy to use in a 5 minute consultation.

- We also provide a comprehensive CRM, billing and analytics platform for doctors which enables them to increase revenue and improve the patient experience.

- 500+ doctors have stored the medical records of over 900k patients on our platform. That makes us the second largest EMR platform in the country. Over 200k e-prescriptions are created on our platform every month.

- We are a motley crew driven by the same goal - to help doctors deliver a 10x better patient experience. We are a strong team of ~70 professionals from diverse educational and professional backgrounds, and are planning to take the team size to >150 in a span of 6 months. We are currently operational in 7 cities and plan to expand into a few more cities by year end.
