The role involves leading the market research efforts of the Organization to understand the buying habits / patterns of the consumers and draw insights through evaluation of the competitor and industry landscape in order to discover target areas that help drive the operational and creative strategies of the company. Key Responsibilities 1. Evaluate sales, consumer feedback, competition and other market data and derive consumer insights to share with relevant internal stakeholders 2. Conduct concept exploration research studies for new products and lead the regional analytics and market potential / sizing studies 3. Perform concept validation research studies (functionality, packaging, pricing, etc.) for final product definition during phase-gate process 4. Conduct field testing of DVT products and performance verification tests for Phase Gate process 5. Execute Net Promoter Score (NPS) / Brand Health studies in the region, consolidate NPS/Brand Track regionally and prepare reporting dashboard 6. Execute quarterly marketing learning goals (OKR - Objectives and key results) 7. Create and maintain regional repository of consumer segmentation, either through primary research or with the help of an agency 8. Support in creation of documents related to the phase-gate process including preparation of MRD 9. Support global brand function in developing retail audit scoring and methodology 10. Support in executing category related test marketing exercises 11. Support in consolidating regional consumer segments and market sizing study into global definitions 12. Support giftbox development, user manual and product/packaging photography 13. Support in achieving product positioning (brand key) development sign-off Successful Candidate Profile 1. Master's Degree in Data Analytics or Behavioural science or related field from tier-I colleges 2. 3+ years of product marketing experience 3. Previous experience of working in data analytics involving large and complex transnational data sets 4. Expert user of Microsoft Excel 5. Strong technical market research background including techniques, data analytics and statistical interpretation 6. Fully up to date with research industry regulations, data protection, code of ethics and best practice 7. Ability to turn data and research into actionable insight and demonstrate results 8. Ability to find patterns and make connections with numerous sources of data and information and communicate
