Divisional Vice President - Human Resources & Administration - Retail (15-20 yrs)

Major Responsibilities :

- The role will have a dual responsibility of building/overseeing the Human Resources and Administration functions and leading the corporate HR function. This role will also form an integral part of the global leadership team.

- This role will demonstrate exceptional business acumen in conceptualizing, leading and executing Human Resources strategies resulting in consistency and positive business impact. This role requires interaction with C- Suite executives.

Role Responsibilities :

- Oversees the HR function encompassing business and strategic HR, which will influence business decisions within a global framework.

- Partners with corporate leadership to drive short and long term people strategies including recruitment, retention, training/learning development, executive coaching, career development, succession planning, performance management, engagement/recognition, talent assessment, organizational design/development, compensation, benefits/reward programs, employee relations and other compliance and community support programs.

- Responsible for partnering with Leaders to champion and drive the corporate culture and values of the organization.

- Builds relationships with all key stakeholders and leaders to establish the credibility of HR and Administration.

- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to enable success, as well as build the employer brand in the community.

- Consults with business leaders to manage and address business issues that impact organization development, performance, and achievement of business objectives.

- Builds a world class HR team, rains, coaches, mentors and directs the work of direct reports, Sets clear objectives for team members based on capacity and specialization, Identifies, grooms, rewards and develops high performing team members as future leaders.

- Resolves escalated conflicts and grievances as necessary.

- Develops and implement strategies to retain talent across the organization.

Additional Role Responsibilities - India :

- Establishes the HR organization in the Global in-house Center (GIC), and implements and executes the end-to-end talent strategy for the GIC.

- Oversees the effective delivery of all aspects of Facilities and Administration for the GIC.

Performance Measures/Outcomes :

- Overall success of the Finance organization's processes, collaboration, and coordination across teams

- Hiring, onboarding, and developing a high performing and high potential team

- Turnover/ retention of top talent

- Culture Survey results

- Feedback from Clients

Role Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred, in Human Resources or related field with 8-10 years of work experience.

- Demonstrates success in a broad range of HR functions, including HR Business Partner experience and expertise in incubating global best practices.

- Expertise in overseeing the HR function, leadership in a variety of strategic HR areas.

- Excellent track record of developing high performing teams and delivering impact full projects.

- Skilled at working collaboratively across highly matrixed organizations and communicating at an executive level.

- Proven HR and Administration leader in seamlessly collaborating with large worldwide teams.

- Proven expertise in managing large diverse teams with up to 500+ resources.

- Self-driven with high integrity, should possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management experience.

Additional Role Qualifications - India :

- Experience working in established GICs/MNCs.

- Understanding of how GICs operate from an HR standpoint.

- Experience in driving HR process improvement projects in an offshore environment.
