Professionals with an experience of 5-7 yrs only (post MBA) with an IT/ITes/Software Selling would only be considered.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Can effectively execute Sales Strategy all by themselves with minimal/ no guidance, and deliver the goods.
- Excels in consultative selling with a focus on what the customer is looking for, rather than, positioning the Company's offering with them
- Goal oriented and a persistent professional with an innate ability to understand potential customers- needs and tailor the Company's offering accordingly, to ensure a deal.
- Ability to drive sales with an empathy and customer-driven approach
- Proven expertise in the ability to gauge potential clients- take on 3 fundamental needs - Autonomy, Competence, and Relatedness.
- While experience selling design services might be a plus, we are really looking for someone who has the ability to learn new areas easily (e.g., design methodology) and be able to present and articulate the value proposition to the prospect.
- Extremely good at - on-the-go- thinking and knows exactly which strategy/ mode works for which kind of customer (potential)
- Can comfortably switch between different approaches - be it a serious discussion, or a talk interspersed with humour, by having a keen understanding of what works for different customers and tailor the discussions towards a successful solution (Deal closure)
- Is a people's person with a pleasant demeanor and can easily gel into our culture.
Educational Qualifications and Skills :
- Master's degree in marketing/sales from Tier I B-Schools (IIMs,SIBM,NITIE etc)
- 3-5 years in sales management within fast growing startups to mid sized companies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- A self starter with the ability to handle the entire sales cycle on their own with little/no help from senior management
- Has an analytical bent
- Ability to travel at least 20% of the time
