Distribution Manager - Mutual Funds Startup (3-8 yrs)
We are currently hiring a Distribution manager for a leading online mutual fund platform. This is a funded startup that is disrupting the MF space and is poised for huge growth. The platform provides paperless experience for the investors. They were recently awarded as 'Best Startup of the Year 2018' by Franchise India.
Job Responsibilities
The role requires managing business partners and help them upscale the business. This is more of a farming role than a hunter profile.
The job outline is as follows:
- To manage Key relations and make business plans for them and help business partners to achieve the business numbers.
- Regular in touch with business partners, share knowledge, contests and market outlook etc.
- Travel to the different location once in a quarter to train & motivate the business partners.
- Conduct - Investor Education Programme- / client engagement programme for business partners.
To fit the bill, you must have the following :
- Business Development & Channel management Skills
- People-oriented, outgoing individual that earns a high degree of loyalty with staff & channel partners.
- Good understanding of Mutual funds & how an industry works.
- Eagerness to work with start-up and problem-solving skills
- Must have NISM (Mutual Funds) certification.
You must be an MBA (Finance) preferably with 3-8 years of experience and work in the MF or Insurance industry.
As for any startup, they would prefer candidates with fire in your belly and risk appetite to work with a startup and take your career to new heights.
