Responsibilities (not exhaustive): - Leading the development and implementation of projects using AWS, SQL Developer, Agile, JIRA, Confluence, Kanban, Visio, Postman and Splunk. Managing all phases of the IT project lifecycle. - Coordinating efforts to develop and analyse options to solve business problems working with business and technology partners across the organization. - Shaping technology solutions with changes in strategy, organization, business processes and/or technology solutions. Creating and implementing technical and operational plans and strategies. - Engage and provide critical information to leadership, cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Business Leadership, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Content, Localization Vendors, etc.) to prioritize initiatives. - Clearly communicate roadmaps, progress, risks, mitigation plans and impacts to senior management and internal cross-functional and remote project teams. Steer teams based on business objectives, constantly align teams to those objectives, in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines. - Coordinating the Software Development Life Cycle (-SDLC-) including project design, project scope, cost control and quality and performance reporting. - Developing conceptual system requirements, system integration requirements and system phasing plan. Creating detailed project design documents. - Ensuring cost-effective and efficient project planning, including the development and maintenance of project plans. Managing project change orders and performance impact analysis. - Defining and applying best practices for the solution architecture and communicating them to the user and development teams. - Overseeing quality assurance and testing of the developed application. - Reviewing test results and recommending modifications to the applications to meet project specification using ALM. Coordinating release management process, including the development and maintenance of implementation plan. - Creating all required artifacts for deployments to UAT and production environments. - Identifying bottlenecks to improve the technical impediments, obstacles and issues within the team and to increase the velocity of product delivery. - Communicating project status with project team and end user. - Facilitating project communication, including track level status meeting. Ensuring proper transition to production support teams and impacted business areas. - Facilitation of end-to-end scoping / estimation and managing cross team dependencies. Education / Skill Set: - Engineering degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from a top institute with an excellent academic record - Extensive knowledge of project and program management processes, tools, templates, and management techniques - Extensive knowledge of multiple software product development methodologies, including in-depth knowledge of agile delivery practices Experience: - Minimum 12 years of IT/E-Learning industry experience managing moderately-sized projects and programs from start to finish within highly complex operating environments. - Have a proven track record of on time and high-quality project delivery - Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large sized teams and cross-functional teams - Experience of having operated effectively in a high demand, rapidly shifting / fluid environment. Abilities and Traits: - Lives and breathes a proactive delivery mindset, role-filling as necessary to meet program goals. - Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage through times of uncertainty and change - Exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across organizational boundaries to drive closure of complex delivery challenges - Manage program/project schedules and associated dependencies, identify possible issues/risks/actions and clearly work with key stakeholders to mitigate for them - Drive issues to logical closure - Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment - Strong business acumen and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across a wide range of audiences - Comfortable hosting senior level leaders and providing status/program updates Location -&nbsp;Chennai / Mumbai
