Director - Web Development

Location - Bangalore or Ahmedabad

Skills require - Sitecore/AEM/Drupal/Web Development Expertise

Job Summary:

- We are looking for a leader to lead the complete life cycle of web development projects. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of working with multiple CMS (content management systems) along with hands on experience of delivering large scale website design and development projects.

- You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various ongoing web development projects, right from requirement analysis, scope, processes to development and deployment. As a leader you will collaborate effectively with various internal cross functional teams and client stakeholders to successfully drive project success.

Qualification:

- 15+years experience in leading large-scale web development projects

- Should also have experience of working with different CMS like Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Drupal etc.(at least 2 of this)

- End to end management of large-scale global web application projects across different domains like Automotive, Healthcare, Finance, Hospitality etc. with significant third-party API integrations

- Excellent communication and presentation skills along with stakeholder management

- Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management

- Hands on knowledge of working with HTML/ CSS/ AJAX/JavaScript/JQuery/ Restful API etc.

- Significant knowledge of UI/UX best practices and processes

- Big plus - Sound knowledge of C#, .Net and OOP fundamentals

- Significant knowledge in Azure (or similar cloud hosting) & CDN will be an advantage

- Proficiency in project management software

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (MBA from top tier B-school is an added advantage)

Responsibilities:

- Provide end-to-end web development project management.

- Collaborate with internal/remote teams to design, develop and delivery projects.

- Develop a detailed project plan and monitor progress.

- Create documents describing scope, functionality and user manual for the projects.

- Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met.

- Must have excellent problem solving, presentation and leadership skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze and communicate both macro and low-level pictures to all levels of the organization, including senior management

- Fluent in development optimization and UI/UX techniques to deliver the best user experience in the most technically efficient manner

- Knowledge of W3C, ADA and other international web standards

- Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects/tasks with changing priorities

- Strong time management, project management, and problem-solving skills
