About Our Client : 

Our client is a US headquartered Financial Services organization with a strong centre of excellence based out of Hyderabad providing services across operations, technology, finance & analytics. With the team expanding quickly and focus of the organization on IT security the organization is looking to hire a senior professional to lead the IT Security team based out of Hyderabad.

Job Description : 

- Implementing strategy for the deployment of information security technologies in line with the business expectations.

- Performing IT security risk assessments and reporting on ways to minimize threats

- Monitoring security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems

- Tracking latest IT security innovations and keeping abreast of latest cyber security technologies

- Strong customer focus - able to meet the demands of internal and external customers. Communicating with key stakeholders about IT security threats

- Implementing an effective process for the reporting of security incidents

- Overseeing the investigation of reported security breaches

- Developing strategies to handle security incidents and trigger investigations

- Complying with the latest regulations and compliance requirements

- Championing and educating the organization about the latest security strategies and technologies

- Driving change projects and building new IS capabilities

- Responsible to ensure IS tools and processes meet regulatory requirements

- Understand business objectives, priorities, drivers and technology focus areas.

- Benchmark and implement industry best practices to mitigate potential threats to the organization's digital infrastructure and operations

- Digital leadership skills - capable of empowering and leading the team to meet business and IT security goals

- Managing the IT security team, security experts and advisors. Providing direction, monitoring performance, motivating staff and building a positive working environment.

The Successful Applicant : 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in Information Technology

- One or more relevant security certifications: SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH),SANS GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), EC2 Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or comparable would be an added advantage

- Must have expertise and exposure in Content Development, Threat Intel & Hunting and SOC Continuous Monitoring

- Prior cyber incident response experience and/or experience working in high tempo cyber operations environments

- Results driven, strategic, conceptual, and innovative thinker

- Experience presenting to senior management

- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strong problem solving with a common-sense approach to resolving problems

- Expertise to clearly define complex issues despite incomplete or ambiguous information

- Strong oral and written communications skills

- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills

- Excellent consulting skills and superior ability to develop and maintain effective client relationships
