Director - US GAAP Accounting - BPO - CA/CPA

We have an exciting opportunity with with a leading Outsourcing Company

Following are the details :

Position : Director US GAAP Accounting

Experience : Min 7+ years

Qualification : CA / CPA preferred

Location : Mumbai

Job Description :

- Responsible for managing general Accounting functions and/or Accounting Policy functions.

- Direct the planning and implementation of activities related to general accounting functions.

- Provides technical accounting expertise and policy interpretation for complex transactions.

- Will be responsible for technical accounting research and writing accounting memos to support the Company's positions and conclusions. 

- Reviews proposed contracts another potential transactions and advises finance and business leaders of the accounting implications.

- Maintains existing accounting policies and creates new policies as needed. 

- Monitors the activities of accounting standard setting bodies and evaluates the impact on the Company's policies and financial statements in compliance with Company and/or US Standards.

- May ensure the propriety of accounting for financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP and/or established policies and ensure internal controls are in place.

- Ensures that risks, exposure and key business issues are identified, properly accounted for and resolved.

- Directs the accounting process.Need to perform all duties inherent in a managerial role. 

- Provides guidance, planning, and direction for team (especially for Close and annual audit).

Work Timings : 12:00 to 7:00 PM from office and 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM from home.

- US overlap for 2-4 days during close.
