Director - Treasury - Conglomerate (15-20 yrs)
Our client is a major conglomerate in Saudi Arabia is looking at hiring Treasury Director. The Director of Treasury will be responsible to develop and manage strategies, operations and policies related to the treasury function, including cash management, foreign exchange, borrowing and payment processing.
- The Treasury Director will ensure that financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet organizational objectives, needs and regulatory body requirements.
- The position will need to be familiar with a variety of treasury concepts, practices and procedures and will need to rely on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
You Will :
- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and available funds for investment
- Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related foreign exchange positions
- Maintain banking relationships
- Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities
- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
You Will Need :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA and/or CPA & CFA a plus
- 15+ years of related experience in Treasury with 5+ years in a Sr. leadership role in a global company required
- Strong Treasury background in a global business with manufacturing and/or retail
- Software tools related to cash flow reporting and positions
- Knowledge of accounting, finance, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Strong project management skills helpful
