- The Business Technology Leader is the primary IT partner to the most senior level business leaders in the one of the Business Unit of Conglomerate
- Liaise with the various commercial components of the business to identify and drive IT solutions to meet or exceed the business demand.
- Identify unmet needs of the business that can be addressed by IT capability.
- Business IT interface
- Gain and build experience in capability as it relates to the business; will require a good base knowledge and experience in general business areas, e.g., commercial analytics, sales force effectiveness capability, commercial/professional education, digital
- Pro-actively explores new demand and opportunities
- Will liaise with the business and various Product Lines to translate requirements for IT sprint cycles
- Partner with Product Lines to assure user acceptance testing to assure that business requirements are satisfied
Business requirements analysis :
- Takes business requirements in conjunction with various Product Lines, and assure specifications are defined in a consumable format and terminology for developers
- Maps our business processes to serve as reference for development and IT support
- Explains to business in conjunction with BAs how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint
- Assure that compliance requirements are within scope of all activities
- Business IT interface
- Is able to work with the various commercial business partners to apply the baseline framework and context diagram to ensure all potential internal and external stakeholders are fully identified.
- Assist in identifying business partners for user acceptance testing and may assist unit testers so that definition of done for requirements are satisfied
- Writes, manages, and clarifies story points and may develop use cases for complex requirements
- Business Process Improvement
- Leverage CPI output for process challenges
- Outline future state process maps in coordination with Product Lines
- Identify metrics, build & track dashboards to measure process improvement
