Director - Direct/Indirect Taxation - Pharma (10-20 yrs)

Looking for candidates from Pharma/healthcare Domain

- Global Tax compliance

- Optimize effective tax rate (ETR) for the company

- Efficiently plan cash flows for Indirect Taxes / Goods & Service Tax (GST)

- Responsible for setting direction for global tax compliance

- Optimize ETR for the company through better planning, implementation of tax sop- s/incentives and analytics

Transfer Pricing :

- Through knowledge of Transfer pricing rules, advance pricing arrangements (APA- s) in order to implement business restructuring relating to India/USA

- Working knowledge of handling TP documentation, audit and assessments

- Experience of handling Taxation related matters for M&A activity

- GST: Working knowledge of GST, its implications on business

- Manage the work performed by Tax Process Outsourcing (TPO)

- Create value in the organization by shifting the focus from being seen as a cost to a business partner

- Contribute to the definition of internal tax policies and frameworks in line with current and future regulatory and strategic requirements in collaboration with CFO to arrest the tax cash flow out of the company

- Interpret upcoming tax legislation and provisions and analyze implications for the groups and its businesses.

- Validate work conducted by external consultants in order to ensure accuracy of information, identify gaps and suggest corrective actions to address non-compliance with accounting and tax standards

- Coordinate with various departments to ensure taxation documents are maintained and audits are conducted on a regular basis to provide assurance on compliance

- In depth knowledge of Direct Tax and International Tax, GST, Export incentives schemes, EOU Compliance, Customs regulations

- Knowledge of OEDC guidelines on Transfer pricing

- Knowledge of export incentive/ MEIS / RoDTEP scheme will be an added advantage

- Has a thorough understanding of accounting systems and practice, communication and presentation skills, analytical skills, and people management skills

Candidates between 35-38 years of age, CAs, non job hoppers, stable and mature, excellent communication skills and strategic thinking with a sound knowledge of both direct and indirect tax, TPO and ability to roll up ones sleeves and work when required,
