About Us

Is TopHire a Consultancy?

No. We- re a tech startup. Tech is at the center of everything we do. The core product is an online recruitment marketplace (i.e. somewhat like a naukri, iimjobs, etc) which is very different than the core product of a consultancy. Additionally our founders have bonafide tech backgrounds. We are disrupting the tech hiring space with an innovative and much needed product.

As with most products, an added personal touch goes a long way towards customer success. TopHire is no different and hence we are building out our client and candidate facing teams with positions such as this one.

About the Role :

- You will be responsible for overlooking the internal recruitment at TopHire (https://tophire.co). We- re hiring rapidly and need a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the process.

- Please note this is not a client-facing role. This is an internal role. You will work with the Co-Founders internally. You will not be interacting with our outside clients.

Responsibilities :

- You'll lead our internal recruitment team and be responsible for planning, strategy, sourcing, shortlisting, screening, pitching, coordination and negotiation

- Manage lateral hiring as well as campus hiring

- Proactively source candidates through a combination of channels including job portals, headhunting, referrals, social media, etc.

- Mentor and train our team of Recruiters

- Work with the Co-Founders directly to define an optimal hiring process for each requirement

- Managing candidate status and communication in our applicant tracking system

- Gain market intelligence by talent mapping and performing competitor analysis

- You will be our brand ambassador and evangelise TopHire to potential candidates

- Develop and implement strategies to make TopHire an employer of choice

- Maximize ROI on recruitment costs and increase recruitment efficiencies

- Forecasting our future hiring needs on the basis of our business growth strategies

Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in recruitment

- Bachelor's degree in any field but preferably in HR / Psychology / Business Management

- Masters / MBA in any field but preferbaly in HR / Psychology / Business Management

- Great English communication both written and spoken

- Experience with various sourcing strategies like headhunting, boolean searches, job posts, social media, referrals etc

- Ability to pitch TopHire to potential candidates in an engaging and persuasive manner

- The skill to shortlist candidates as per the desired requirements of the hiring manager.

- Conscientious. Always on top of your pipeline without a need for reminders or follow ups

- A desire to work in a rapidly scaling startup.
