Director - Sustainability ESG & Climate Change (15-25 yrs)

We are hiring Director Sustainability ESG and Climate Change with one of our Client.


The individual will be responsible for following :

- Conceptualize and develop a broad suite of climate risk offerings (gap analysis, materiality assessment, emission efficiency measures, net zero goal setting, TCFD reporting, etc.) for corporates and financial institutions across the Americas, EMEA and Asia

- Partner with business development and onshore teams for strategic campaigns to target prospective clients

- Drive conversations with prospective clients to understand their strategic objectives and make a compelling case for them to consider CRISIL as their consulting partner. Identify and leverage value statements that connect with clients

- Keep abreast of market trends and regulatory developments, analyze their implications, and launch tactical campaigns to connect with clients that may be impacted

- Leverage thought leadership and foresight to help clients in shaping their RFP scope and consultant evaluation criteria. Lead the submission of RFP responses by collaborating across internal teams to leverage the best possible insights for CRISIL's proposed solution

- Support franchise building efforts by planning and executing webinars, panel discussions, and unique industry insights and views

- Manage client relationships and ensure CRISIL is well-positioned to be their partner of choice across medium- and long-term horizons

- Oversee the delivery of consulting engagements, across pilots and strategic projects

- Manage the expansion of the India-based delivery team through a combination of external hires and cross-training of hand-picked internal resources

- Proven track-record in executing consulting engagements, especially for global clients

- Good understanding of the sustainability and climate risk value chain (i.e., materiality assessment, gap analysis, environmental efficiency programs, risk identification and management, procurement and supply chain, internal reporting, and external disclosures)

- Excellent communication skills

- Academic qualifications in sustainability would be an advantage but not a mandatory requirement

- Specialist experience in working with clients in one or more sectors that are heavily focused on operating model transformation (Power, Oil & Gas, Transport, Logistics, Technology, Consumer, etc.)

- Well-versed with global trends in sustainability - emerging industry practices, regulatory requirements on integration and disclosures, etc.

- Penchant for thought leadership

- Experienced in managing teams spread across multiple locations
