Long term Strategy Development - Participate and provide inputs into the long-term SCM strategy in alignment with the strategic direction Business Planning -&nbsp; - Plan, design and communicate the supply chain management plan covering key areas like logistics and Purchase - Plan, Lead &amp; strategize for the aggressive Capex cycle &amp; concomitant activities currently underway - Ensure all inputs from the Central Planning team, production team, quality management teams and customer facing teams have been incorporated into the annual SCM business plan Budgeting and Financial Planning -&nbsp; - Develop the annual budget for the SCM team aligned to overall business plan and budget - Assess ROI of initiatives and key strategies related to Supply Chain Management Supply Chain Management -&nbsp; - Coordinate Supply and Demand of products between production and customer facing teams to align volumes, product quality and timeline of production - Establish systems and processes to facilitate a streamlined supply chain process by leveraging technology for automation / ease of administration thereby improving data reliability and efficiencies - Drive and monitor timely and cost efficient stock import and domestic movement of goods from WH to customers - Build a robust domestic distribution network through effective management of warehouses to ensure that the requirements of customers are met on time - Oversee selection of efficient logistics partners and service providers to ensure highest quality and service levels - Ensure the institutionalization of a robust shipment and product tracking mechanism for export orders - Monitor industry best practices and upgrade technology to improve efficiencies in the supply chain management - Oversee implementation of a robust inventory management framework to ensure availability of materials based on product criticality - Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure a robust planning process to forecast demand, assess and plan for capacity and prioritize procurement in order to ensure that orders can be delivered at the agreed upon service levels - Keep a continuous eye on cost &amp; achieve targeted cost reduction Imports -&nbsp; - Accountable for developing systems &amp; processes around imports for the organization - Build close partnerships and alignment across with CHA- s/Shipping houses Procurement -&nbsp; - Accountable for developing procurement strategies for selected categories - Display leadership behaviours aligned with company values to drive a culture of collaboration and engagement across the global organization - Build close partnerships and alignment across all sites and regions where the materials/services in scope of the role are consumed. - Accountable for implementation of procurement strategies and delivery of procurement savings globally. - Engagement with stakeholders across the supply chain &amp; work collaboratively with all Supply Chain stakeholders across the business to drive sourcing strategies. - Active involvement in development and deployment of the Supply Chain strategies. Risk Management -&nbsp; - Adherance to the financial risk mitigation framework and development of internal control mechanisms for early risk identification People Development -&nbsp; - Ensure high productivity and engagement of the team by acting as a guide/mentor for their continual development - Develop a team and organisation that is aligned to and continuously lives the company values - Embed a performance management system including KPI's to drive mutual collaboration with the regional teams and support the global strategies Educational Qualification &amp; Experience : - BE+MBA graduate with 15 -20 years of experience, with sufficient exposure to or past experience in various areas Green field/Brown Field real estate/infrastructure/OEM/Automobile/Data Center/ Telecom environments.
