Director - Strategy & Governance - Investment Bank (15-20 yrs)

Our Client is a transatlantic consumer, corporate and investment bank offering products and services across personal, corporate and investment banking, credit cards, and wealth management, with a strong presence in our two home markets of the UK and the US.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Lead on strategy within Cards and Payment Operations India to help the business improve performance and effectiveness; with focus on strategic planning, transformation, lean/automation and location strategy, operational rigor.

- Oversee the development and delivery of 3 year+ Transaction Cycle roadmap strategic planning exercises, with associated cost, FTE and location strategy plans.

- Lead the identification and delivery of efficiency savings by creating plans to reduce cost and create capacity by leveraging process simiplication, efficiency and robotics tools - e.g. lean, automation, machine learning.

- Responsible for innovation and capability build out for India TCs, ensuring that we have a clear innovation agenda and roadmap and collaboration opportunities across Cards and Payments COO and the broader organization

- Lead on production of papers for key meetings - e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews, Strategy Reviews, ExCo presentations, with senior strategic oversight to ensure executive level communications

- The identification, planning and coordination of a set of projects or work streams within a programme of business change, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies

2. Transformation and Benefits Management :

- Create and deliver on the transformation road-map with a focus on capacity creation, transitions, process simplification and automation

3. Resource Management :

- The resource management process enables the effective planning, reporting and review of the resource capacity required to successfully deliver the defined deliverable

4. Stakeholder Management and Leadership :

- The coordination of relationships with and between key stakeholders throughout the design, management and implementation of business change

5. Knowledge Leadership :

- The provision of advice, assistance, and leadership in any area associated with the planning, procurement, quality management, maintenance or effective use of deliverable and their environments.
