ROLE : Director- Solutions & Presales (Customer Data Platform, Customer Insights, Marketing Automation & Personalization)
LOCATION : Bangalore
Responsibility:
- Actively driving and managing the - technical win- within an active sales process,
- Working in conjunction with the rest of the client facing team as the key technical advisor and advocate for our solutions and platform, including conducting product demonstrations, solution workshops and responding to RFI / RFPs
- Work closely with sales & marketing to support all Go-To-Market activities
- Candidate must be client facing and able to uncover challenges and needs that might not be obvious as well as articulate capabilities and product positioning to both business and technical users at all levels. Candidate must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with both new prospects and existing clients.
Candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in enterprise software sales and knowledge in Customer Data Platform & Customer Insights Custom or Customer Marketing Automation & Personalization.
- They must be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base and changing technical landscape. They must think outside the box, possess strong presentation skills, and be able to communicate complex technical ideas to a range of business, marketing and IT user, both easily and professionally.
- Seeing through complex solution-engagement to prospects by supporting internal and external teams.
- Delivering tailored technical and functional presentations and demonstrations to customer groups, technical, business up to and including C-Level executives
- Owning functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs, being able to respond quickly and gather feedback from product and engineering teams when necessary
- Conveying customer requirements and solutions to internal Client Services and Product Management teams
- Identifies technical hurdles early in the deal cycle and works to overcome any hurdles using available resources
- Works with internal groups (marketing, client services, engineering) updating product presentation content, vetting customer requests
- Will be responsible for driving Pre-sales activities for UK & Europe (North/West) region.
- Open to work with globally distributed and diverse sales & pre-sales teams
- Open for travel (when situation permits)
Qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant experience in SaaS software presales or consultancy
- Solution-selling and platform sales experience
- Aware of cloud technologies (AWS / Azure)
- Conversant in artificial intelligence / machine learning technologies
- Advanced knowledge & pre-sales experience in real-time personalization and/or Customer Data Platforms and Marketing Automation toolset
- Knowledge of backend web and system architectures
- Retail, CPG and/or grocery experience preferred
- B.S. in Computer Science or Business & Technology or related field, or the equivalent in education and/or experience
