Director - Solutions Architecture - BFSI/KPO (12-15 yrs)

Position Summary:

The Director of Solutions Architecture will lead solution build strategy and effort across both technology and KPO offerings. This will involve significant proactive effort to support specific product campaigns, articulate our Value Proposition and define new bundled constructs across technology and services.

- The individual will also need to independently manage and oversee RFX / proposal related effort across offerings.

- He/She will also be required to mentor other managers/ senior managers on the Solutions Team to support a range of opportunities, individual will need to be extremely hands on and self driven.

- The candidate must be able to coordinate and lead across Client Facing groups, product leads, Delivery teams and support functions in addition to interfacing with senior management to set and execute on strategies and objectives set-forth to result in deal conversion. He/ She will also need to lead Pricing and

- Contract related effort with Finance and Legal respectively.

- Experience in the Product Solutions/ Pre Sales environment within the Financial Services Vertical will be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Value Proposition Build out: Coordinate across Product, Delivery and Sales to define the value proposition across each of our products and services to build relevant campaign strategies

- Lead responses to Product RFIs, RFPs, Proposals

- Actively support the Finance team to structure Pricing constructs for products

- Create and build a Knowledge repository of best in class proposal template formats, marketing material and campaign collateral

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, and interact with multiple internal and external teams, simultaneously

- Coordinate activities with the Head of Business Development and the broader Business Development team

- Support Strategic account mining initiatives to cross sell products

- Support competitive intelligence gathering and analysis

- Develop, prepare and maintain presentation materials for use as enterprise resources to introduce multiple aspects of the organization and articulate strategic initiatives to external parties;

- Lead new strategic initiatives from a Solutions stand point targeting either new market entry or new product launch

- Must demonstrate a strong inclination to analyze market research to support solution build out.

Experience:

- Over 12 years of experience with a significant part in Solution/Presales;

- Experience in structuring of pricing to meet client requirement and ensure deal conversions;

- Substantial experience in open ended solution efforts to articulate value propositions;

- Experience with company positioning and strategy development is highly valuable;

- A track record of interfacing with teams of varied backgrounds and a demonstrated success of such team management to achieve set outcomes;

- A demonstrated ability to execute on multiple projects simultaneously and excel in a fast-paced, results-orientated work environment;

- Ability to demonstrate past/current experience leading to increase Business Development tractions;

- Cross function experience across business operations and technology/product preferred.

Education Qualifications:

- Strong academic credentials, ideally with an MBA from a well-regarded institution;

- Prior product development / Strategy Execution experience will be a plus;

- Minimum of 5 years in a solutions role;

- Prior consulting or business development experience will be viewed as a plus.

- Collaboration/Influencing Skills: Is able to constructively engage external and internal partners - working vertically and horizontally across an organization - to a common cause through developing an understanding of their requirements and concerns; developing mutually beneficial solutions and proposals to meet the clients need. Demonstrated ability to mentor others on the team. Evidence of a leadership style defined by empowering a strong team oriented environment;

- Impeccable Integrity: Embodies and practices world-class ethical standards. Creates an environment of trust by acting with fairness and consistency, keeping commitments, and providing rationale for decisions;

- Excellent Communication Skills: Maintains an open flow of two-way communication, exhibiting strong verbal, written and presentation skills, stating expectations clearly and being visible to all stakeholders. A straight forward communicator;

- Intelligent: A person with strong intellectual capabilities who can hold his/her own yet support the ultimate decision. A creative thinker with the ability to work in highly unstructured environments;

- Ability to span across different lines of business across products, technology and BPO.
