Director/Senior Manager - Operations Consulting - IIM/XLRI/FMS/MDI

This position will directly report into the CEO and dotted line report into both the head of vertical and horizontal. The person will report to the Leadership Committee every month with progress and plans

Key Responsibilities:

Improve business processes

- Understand challenges in how we conduct our business and translate them into process/technical solutions

- Conduct business operational assessments and deliver recommendations for improvements

- Work with people across the organization to Facilitate process development initiatives, get buy-in and drive change to achieve business goals

- Identify opportunities for improved operational performance at the organizational level

- Provide recommendations on business process improvements and best practices - recommendations may include broad changes- structure, staff, skills, processes, and measurement systems

- Provide consultation to management and leaders for operational effectiveness

Operations Reporting

- Responsible for creating data and reporting on all operational parameters of the company

- Supports verticals and horizontals with necessary data and information from time to time

Program Management

- Assist in development of project plan and schedule to achieve project goals.

- Identify and resolve business risks/issues in a timely manner.

- Maintain operation documentation for reference purposes.

Leadership

- Guide operations team on business operations and problem solving skills

- Conduct training to internal team and customers on business processes

Required Skills:

- Prior experience in operations consulting is a must

- Experience in solving operational challenges in global organizations is a must

- Should have experience in presenting recommendations to C-level executives

- Should have owned or participated in large change management process

- Strong program management background will be a plus

- Experience in implementing control systems/balance scorecards or 6-sigma initiatives is an added advantage

Qualifications:

- MBA in Operations Management or an equivalent degree from a Tier 1 institute

- 8-15 years of overall experience with atleast 3-5 years in an operations consulting role or in a quality management practice
