Director/Senior Manager - Liabilities & RWA Optimization - Transaction Banking - BFS (10-20 yrs)

Job Purpose

The individual will take responsibility for leading the team providing support to the Transaction Banking business covering areas like analytics to support Cash portfolio optimization, governance and control of RWA recognition and booking model review.

The Role & Responsibilities -

Lead LRO initiatives such as MI, IBOR, Model X Enhancements and RoRWA optimisation

Data Management

- Identify data sources and provide guidance on key inputs

- Create business requirements to drive automation and reduce manual processes

- Drive standardisation and accuracy of data quality as well as MI

- Drive data analytics for LROs initiatives / justification at the Operational Balance Sheet Committee (OBSC), Group / Country Asset Liabilities Committee (GALCO / ALCO), eg. Monthly RWA forecast and OPAC analysis

Performance Management

- Drive process improvement in Cash and Trade models

- Deliver strategic Cash Model enhancements to achieve OPAC recognition for New-to-Bank clients

- Deliver RWA saves from data fixes, clean-up, system enhancements and process changes

- Drive RoRWA and OPAC optimisation

Stakeholder Management

- Engage with Central teams onshore and respective Product teams to drive the MI / Data and Analytics requirements

- Collaborate with Tech and COE teams across the Cash and Trade business on system and booking model enhancements

- Develop KPIs for the teams objectives in co-ordination with central team to manage teams deliverables

Our Ideal Candidate

- Good understanding of Transaction Banking products

- Knowledge on regulatory framework (Basel, CRR) and regulatory changes in the external environment.

- Excellent analytical skills; ability to manage large data.

- Hands-on individual and a self-starter with people management skills.

- Good stakeholder engagement capabilities, with the ability to own and manage initiatives, and to co-ordinate across a matrix organisation.

- Ability to influence across product partners and to deliver results with minimal supervision.

- A team player able to adapt to a multi-cultural diverse team.

- Ability to challenge the status-quo and to facilitate discussions.
