Senior Director Product Control (Diversity Candidate Only)

A challenging and unique opportunity with one of our clients who are a growing Investment bank in the APAC region and are looking out for an experienced individual to head their Regional Product Control Team and reporting to the Global Head.

This role is based out of India and is a Senior Director Role with 2 to 3 Directors level reportee's.

Key responsibilities will include :

- Leadership and ownership of the strategic regional direction in line with the global vision of Product Control.

- Leading the India operational aspects, but also ensuring regional and global consistency.

- Working with the businesses and the new business product groups to evaluate & integrate new products and businesses into our financial environment in a controlled manner.

- Executing controls to detect unauthorized trading or unusual activity and escalate it in a timely manner to senior management.

To qualify for this role you will require :

- Broad knowledge and understanding of financial market products across all asset classes.

- Strong control focus and prior experience in a control function

- Proven communication skills in dealing with local and global stakeholders across all levels.

- Experience of managing a large and diverse team, including direct management of senior individuals.

- Experience in working within teams, managing teams across a matrix environment and across geographies
