Director - Science & Technology - Government/PSU Consulting Firm

Role is to take up this position as the 2nd employee and be like a Co-Founder to this newly established govt consulting outfit focussed on science and tech.

Job Description :

1. Lead Enterprise Solution Design and Implementation - the intersection of business and technology, with focus on building innovations in government tech space.

2. Manage multiple project teams and oversee all aspects of projects including estimation, sprint planning, requirements gathering, architecting, developing, testing, issue/risk management, change control and delivery

3. Diagnose complex technical and business problems and implement creative solutions that leverage capabilities to meet our govt clients- needs

4. Manage the account planning process at existing and prospective clients by identifying new or follow-on opportunities

5. Actively manage project profitability for both our firm and our clients by taking a leadership role in executing the sales process while understanding client and/or partner legal agreements affecting their teams' work

6. Support company growth by building and maintaining a strong professional network as well as contributing to the recruitment of new employees and set up the organisation

7. Mentor junior colleagues by providing career development goals, meeting regularly, writing and deliver semi-annual reviews, and advocating for their career advancement

8. Actively represent our culture by leading and participating in efforts around continuous learning, personal and professional development, community service and team building

We Look For :

1. The successful candidate possesses the following critical qualifications :

2. 8+ years of technical and/or management consulting experience architecting enterprise and application solutions

3. Working knowledge of Agile practices

4. Extensive client account and project management experience with demonstrated ability to plan and manage the execution of custom development projects and complex client engagements

5. Current or recent leadership of multiple internal and external teams

6. Strong local network of IT and business executives and business acumen across a variety of industries and business functions

7. Recognized as a valued trusted advisor in relationships with clients, colleagues, vendors, and other industry professionals

8. Ability to build consensus and achieve goals through influence

9. Passionate and successful in mentoring others and developing their careers
