Position : Director Sales (US Direct Sales Experience)

Location : Pune

Reports to: CEO

Description:

This is the role of the sales leader of the entire organisation driving a result-oriented team of 12 - 15 high performing inside sales and sales professionals. The role requires taking complete ownership of all phases of the sales cycle for its company, an innovative software services company with a unique highly - productized- services offering. The sales leader will be responsible for defining the sales strategy including market segmentation, targeting and positioning of company's unique service offering. This would include defining campaigns based on a clear understanding of the need of the market at the time. The role requires interface with marketing to align all content creation and social media promotions with the ongoing sales campaigns.

The right candidate will be a - deal maker- with a proven track record of driving sales through high volume deal flows. The focus is on the no. of deals as well as the total sales achieved. The role reports into the CxO and the candidate will be tasked with delivering better than industry standard results on KPIs like deal volumes, sales achieved, quality of sales and growth.

The candidate will be expected to motivate, guide, mentor and drive a diverse team undertaking the following tasks:

1. Inside Sales - Research, List building, email campaigning, cold calling & appointment setting and lead nurturing.

2. ASMs - prospect interaction, lead qualification and sales closure.

The sales leader will be required to take responsibility for the performance of the members of the inside sales and sales team including defining their individual goals and cascading them into the overall goals of the sales team. A key part of the role is empowering and enabling the performance of each member of these teams to be able to achieve their goals.

Requirements

15 years of experience of sales, direct selling experience and sales management experience is a must.

Complete understanding of the software services business.

Absolute command of the B2B Sales process.

Knowledge of the US market especially of the small and medium business and startup space.

Candidates should be comfortable with Night Shift.
