Director - Sales - Technology Services (12-16 yrs)
Role responsibilities:
The Sales Director is responsible for generating leads and opportunities with Enterprise Clients. He will work closely with respective Partner(s) and Director(s) to convert leads to opportunities and engagements. He will be expected to carry a sales/revenue target. The Sales Director is expected to understand services offerings, market position and its delivery model. He shall be able to bring extensive network in India and ability to leverage his connections in the corporate world.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in a reputed IT firm or a management consulting firm or specialty practice related to the outsourcing industry.
- Passion to drive, meet executives and highly networked individual
- Willing to carry revenue target. Enjoy sales and lead generation
- Understanding of IT consulting, sourcing advisory and vendor management functions
- Good and deep understanding of technology industry. Ability to generate meaningful conversations with the clients. Should be up to date with latest happenings in technology, sourcing advisory and vendor management.
- An understanding of needs of Enterprise clients for IT and other support function.
- Experience in conducting sales on transformation aspects including shared services, operational improvement and outsourcing/offshoring.
- Business development and sales experience including prospecting, lead qualification, proposal writing, sales calls and sales support.
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field - a degree or minor in accounting a significant plus
- MBA or other advanced degree(s)
