Our client is a US based MNC with 800+ strength globally with development centers in Pune and Bangalore.

They are leaders in delivering product engineering services and are preferred partner in Storage, Networking, Virtualization, Cloud, IoT and analytics domains. With 50% YoY growth they are looking to strengthen their sales focus for further growth.

They are currently looking to hire Director of Sales for their India and US markets.

Job description

1. Responsible for business development and sales of outsourced product development services

2. Be responsible for hands-on closing of new accounts and meeting revenue generation goals.

3. Be a hands-on manager and drive the company's sales efforts and execute them in collaboration with the India based sales and engineering presales teams. The activities performed in this scope are prospecting for new business, detailed qualification of sales opportunities, management of the sales cycle, and negotiation of contracts and agreements.

4. Develop and implement sales strategies keeping short and long term goals in perspective

5. Should have sold Services- specifically Product Engineering services

6. Should have sold in US markets

7. Should have managed inside sales in US markets

Desired Skills and Experience : 

1. Strong technology knowledge and interest: the candidate should have worked in an engineering role in a data center product company in past and eventually shifted to sales, business development or product marketing.

2. Participation in sales process either in a sales/business development role or in product marketing/product management role/pre-sales role.

3. Should be an aggressive go-getter with high energy levels and must have an inherent hunger for sales.

4. Good knowledge of storage, virtualization and networking markets and technologies is preferred.

5. Should have adequate exposure to India based product engineering teams and processes so that the candidate can work closely and collaboratively with the engineering and sales teams in India.

6. Must have the ability to create, develop and sustain relationships at the CTO/VP Engineering levels at prospective client companies

7. Prior experience in selling of outsourced product development services is desirable.

8. Proven capability to develop and manage sales opportunities from beginning to end including qualification, proposal creation, negotiation and closing

9. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-task, team environment

10. Must have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
