Director - Sales - IT (15-20 yrs)

Sales Director with an exemplary hyperscale sales track record, minimum 15 years of sales experience, with a substantial part of those years in the data center space. The Sales Director will help establishing the strategy for market entry using their contacts and knowledge of the industry to assess where hyperscale demand is and where the Company should develop its data centers. As the platform expands, either through M&A or greenfield development, this position may be tasked with growing the sales division responsible for selling the company's data center capacity.

The role will include:

- Develop long-term strategic account relationships focusing on, but not limited to, hyperscale, Tier II cloud providers and enterprise clients.

- Responsible for articulate compelling value propositions

- Develop and Managing key client relationships at a senior level with C-Suite and business leaders to identify and diligently pursue new potential business.

- Solution selling to new prospects, both direct and through sales partners.

- Nurture opportunities and fill pipeline by active engagement with prospects, partners and key customers.

- Maintain knowledge of competitors in accounts.

- Lead robust client and prospect meetings and engagement activity.

- Initiate brand building and sales activity with new customers.

The Sales Director will report to the [Chief Growth Officer].

The right candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' sales experience, with a substantial part of that experience within a data center provider and/or end user (hyperscale). They will have both deep relationships within the data industry and the ability to leverage those relationships to carve out new strategies for data development.

The candidate must be a self-starter. They will possess excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate, clearly and credibly. Alongside deep sector knowledge, they will demonstrate collaboration, positivity, and teamwork whilst displaying the highest levels of integrity, accountability and empathy.
