Client : Financial Services Company Location : Gurgaon Position - Director : Sales & BD (Invoice Discounting) Key Responsibilities : - Identify, develop and own end-to-end high-impact strategic alliances and partnerships with leading players in priority segments - Market mapping and working with channel partners/ direct sales to increase the market share in terms of revenue and clients acquired. - Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with product and marketing teams to help create and deliver new products for customers - Work closely with the product and tech teams to build strategic platforms / products within the company - Prospect relentlessly to build pipeline and build strong personal relationships with prospects - Be proactive about solving problems even if it's outside of your area and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge Desired Skills and Experience: - Extensive knowledge of credit domain and understanding of traditional trade and trade credit cycles. - Should have strong existing relationships in the industry (FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail and Trading) - At least 10-12 years- prior experience in traditional trade financing or invoice discounting, having managed small or mid corporate clients on the lending side . - Strong communication and leadership skills - Needs to be able to experiment at high speed - take decisions independently, get things done, and course correct rapidly - Ideal candidate should be hungry, proactive, and outward-oriented, with a bias for action and delivering results. - Role shall revenue driven and would require extensive travel.
