Director Sales - Automotive Electronics

Looking for a BD Director for Automotive Segment for one of the Electronic Manufacturing Provider. Experience in sales for Indian clients. Prefer experience with automotive electronics and EMS / PCBA sales

Job Description

- Identify and develop new business pipeline with key customers

- Analyze and understand India automotive market trend, market opportunities, customers business strategy, future product plans, expansion activities and align client's capabilities where mutually beneficial.

- Define business growth priorities through a broad and far vision of market and technology needs, to include initiating and managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand and drive market penetration in India

- Work closely with the global business development team and design, quote team to create competitive solution and quotes for customers

- Act as a focal point in delivering solutions which include concept development, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services support and reverse logistics.

- Support senior management with regard to managing and evaluating key personnel and in terms of talent acquisition to provide further potential to business resources

Job Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences or business; MBA is preferred. Typically requires 10-12 years of progressively advancing account management and/or business development experience.

- Ability,confidence and track record of interfacing with and developing strong relationships with customers.

- Proven ability to pursue, propose and win new business and a strong urge to win.

- Experience working in a multinational corporation and ability to manage within a matrix environment without losing focus or a sense of personal responsibility.

- Strong sense of urgency and initiative requiring little direction and ability to work independently.

- Operating with the highest integrity and ethical behavior and maintaining confidentiality.

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
