Director - Revenue recognition

Responsibilities & Deliverables :

- Responsible for order booking, billing, revenue and collection accounting

- Manage / support related business functions such as receivable collection, forecasting of revenue

- Interface with Business to

- Provide MIS on account receivable overdues

- Lead data migration audit for regions that have ERP changes, as relevant for Revenue process

- Understand latest technical issues and their implications on Revenue accounting under Ind AS requirements, IFRS, US GAAP, etc.

- Support Director of Revenue (Global) in defining uniform accounting policies and related business processes

- Drive accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables

- Maintain strong controls ensuring all group policies

Skills/Requirements :

- 12+ years- experience with CA/CPA

- Experience with Revenue recognition in similar industry; implementation of ASC 606, IFRS 15

- In depth knowledge and experience of converting Local GAAP Financial Statement to IFRS and US GAAP

- Data analytical skills, with expert knowledge of associated controls and procedures

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with independent auditors

- Ability to work with virtual, global teams

- Deep understanding of accounting principles and their application
