Job Description - Head of Retail will be commercially astute, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth whilst maximising innovative and commercial opportunities.

A luxury brand based out of Paris. The collections for both men and women combine wit, glamour, elegance and technical proficiency like no other. It has more than 130 boutiques globally.

Description

- Set and continually track sales targets to ensure continued improvement within all locations
- Have an entrepreneurial approach to aid with the growth of the Business and put forward ideas to increase profitability and employee engagement

- Work with the Merchandising & Buying team to ensure the sell through targets are met

- Work with the HR Manager in recruiting, training and retaining talent within the company

- Work on an on-going succession plan for the Concession and Boutique staff & Management Team, whilst looking at ways to encourage and improve sales and overall performance of the team, to aid with their growth within the company

- Ensure clear communication of the company's objectives to the teams. Deliver challenging messages positively

- Work closely on PR, Events and marketing for the brand

- Manage time effectively being regularly present in the retail boutiques & Concessions. Develop, train, motivate and mentor a team of successful Concession and Boutique Managers

- Ensure the effective implementation and follow up on training initiatives and mystery shopper results

- Evaluate all areas of improvement as highlighted in the mystery shopper reports and create a plan of action to ensure consistency and efficiency in the service provided by the teams

Profile

- Astute business & commercial acumen with the ability to influence stake holders

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong retail management experience, strategically focused and ambitious

- Excellent communicator, creative and solution led

- Strong IT skills

- Analytic mindset

- Someone who uses initiative with a hands-on approach and the ability to prioritise

- Languages is an advantage, Arabic, French, English
