Director - Public Charitable Educational Trust

- We are looking out for a Whole Time Director for a registered public charitable educational trust established in 1964 . This dynamic and ambitious educational trust has a distinctive mission to transform lives and society through education and innovation.

- The Trust that started with a single college with 100 students is today a multi facility educational institute with over 7000 students. They have seven colleges and each one is headed by a Principal. The day to day affairs of the trust are managed by the local managing committee under the guidance of Board of Trustees.

- They offer degree courses in all the faculties viz. Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Computer Applications, Management and Performing Arts. In addition, they also offers Post Graduate courses for M.A., M.Sc., M. Com. and other degrees. Aspiring students are also offered the opportunity to do research and acquire a Ph. D.

- They have also initiated professional courses like a foundation course for Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary; and courses for entrance examinations in the field of banking, insurance etc.

- Each academic year they uplift and educate students of all castes and classes of Palampur and near by towns.

Facilities in the Colleges :

- All colleges are individually housed

- There are separate, advanced laboratories for various faculties of the science college - physics, chemistry, botany, biology

- Colleges have up-to-date infrastructure and a well-equipped laboratories. Its library of many floors (each floor dedicated to a specific stream) holds pride of place on the campus.

- The computer labs of the college teaching courses in computer technology are advanced with relevant updated software & about 400 computers in the BCA College

- A hostel for boys allows students from far-flung areas to benefit from higher education

Details on the position :

- The position is based in Palanpur and reports to the Managing committee

- The director is expected to run the institution professionally and provide meaningful and effective leadership

- Develop and implement medium and long term plans to realise the vision of the trust

- Provide dynamic and innovative leadership in academics and administration.

Education, Experience & Proficiency required for the Director Position :

- Should have a doctorate degree mandatory

- Should possess an outstanding track record of 10 to 15 years in leadership role in educational or not-for-profit organisation

- Strong administrator with academic bent

- Multiple lingual and tech savvy (Gujarati)

- Preferred age : 45 to 55 years
